If cartons of yoghurt and custard are not emptied properly, approximately 10% of the contents will be left in the packaging. This results in all of us throwing away a large amount of yoghurt and custard, unnecessarily and unintentionally! By folding the cartons the right way, less food is wasted. This is why the national campaign ‘Get the most out of it’ was launched, an initiative by dairy manufacturers and Dutch supermarkets to reduce yoghurt waste among consumers.

Together with the agency Schuttelaar & Partners, Imagine People began with the production of a commercial for the ‘get the most out of it’ campaign. This initiative by the dairy industry and the supermarket sector was launched to combat food waste. Yes, you can squeeze out a carton in such a way that you get the most out of it!
Soon after the first brainstorming sessions ‘carton man’ was born! After the birth of ‘carton man’, we continued to develop the script together, and looked at how we could bring ‘carton man’ to life using sophisticated 3D animation. With Imagine People in the role of executive producer, this has resulted in a commercial starring Tom and his sister. You may have seen it on TV or as pre-roll on YouTube.
