Access to a sophisticated fibre-optic and Wi-Fi network, highly skilled and talented staff and various colleges and universities are ingredients that make The Hague an appealing location for telecom and ICT businesses.
But how do you visualise this and present it worldwide? Imagine People received the following briefing from the Municipality of The Hague: position The Hague as the capital of innovation, creation and technology.
Our approach started with reading the book ‘The Superpromoter. A ‘Superpromoter’ is somebody who is enthusiastic about a brand, product or organisation, infecting others with their enthusiasm. Superpromoters make recommendations and are copied by others. The infectious enthusiasm of the superpromoter is of vital importance for businesses, as it creates growth, in the number of new clients in addition to generating turnover growth!
Besides the power of the ‘superpromoter’, we started working with aerial shots. These aerial shots represent the translation of intangible concepts such as data, fibre optics and Wi-Fi. The special light beams visible in the film wind their way through the city, and are a metaphor for connecting organisations in The Hague.
“As the client commissioning this film, I can say that Imagine People delivered excellent work and that we would love to work with them again. Various people within the Municipality of The Hague are considering creating something similar for their discipline. This is the result of watching the telecom film. Imagine People has delivered an excellent and high-quality film for the city of The Hague. Many thanks for this.”
